Narrative:
A Canadair CL-215-1A10 firefighting airplane, registration EC-HET, was destroyed when it impacted hilly terrain during a firefighting operation in the Lobios Forest near the border with Portugal.
The pilot (65) portuguese national died after resuscitation attempts on the crash area ,
The co-pilot spanish national (39) is in serious condition.
The plane is owned by Castelo Branco Air Means Center.
