ok, gracias Angel.
Anyone else have this problem. I have p3d v4 installed onto Windows 10. I have the original Bajasim zip file and I redownloaded a new one 10 minutes ago. when I try to install the Bajasim zip package from my purchase, I get the "You must enter a full path with drive letter for example C:\APP or UNC path in the form: \\server\share" error.
even created a dummy fake folder: Program Files/Microsoft Games/Microsoft flight simulator X and still didn't work. Installed FSX onto 1 of my SSD drives and tried to install bajasim into it and still wont install.
Anyone have any suggestions?
You'll have to make a trick telling Bajasim's installer that FSX is installed in the P3Dv4 folder, for that you'll need to make some changes in the windows registry, which are described below:
1. Press WindowsKey + "R", that will call a new window in order to manually launch a program.
2. Enter "Regedit" in the dialog window and click "Accept".
3. Once in Windows Registry Editor, look for the following key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0]
If you already have FSX installed or it was installed previously, just edit the section "SetupPath" with your current P3Dv4 install folder.
If you don't have FSX installed, you must create the key and entry.
4. Now, look for the following key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0]
If you already have FSX installed or it was installed previously, just edit the section "AppPath" with your current P3Dv4 install folder.
If you don't have FSX installed, you must create that key and entry.
Note: If you installed FSX on your PC, don't forget to set both entries back to its previous values (FSX Install folder), otherwise you'll get issues running FSX.
