CHICAGO O'HARE TOWER LETTER TO AIRMEN NO. 13-06

SUBJECT: SIMULTANEOUS DEPARTURE PROCEDURES

CANCELLATION: October 16, 2015

O'Hare Airport Traffic Control Tower is authorized to conduct simultaneous
departures from the following runways with course divergence beginning no
later than 4 miles from the runway end:

- Current Pairs
14R/14L
32R/32L
4R/4L
22R/22L
9R with 9L or 10L
27L with 28R or 27R

Operations conducted under this waiver shall be subject to the following;
a. There shall be a fully operational radar environment and continuous
radar surveillance.
b. There shall be notification of simultaneous parallel departures to all
concerned aircraft.
This notification shall be broadcast through the Automatic Terminal
Information Service (ATIS).
c. Inclusion of this waiver information in the Airport Facility Directory and
advertised in a Letter to Airmen.
d. Turns to achieve at least 15 degrees divergence or more shall begin
no later than 4 miles from the runway end.
