Military investigators are still sifting through the wreckage of a marine helicopter that went down in the Cleveland National Forest. The pilots have been identified as Captain Jessica Conkling and First Lieutenant Aaron Cox.
Both were killed in the crash late Tuesday. They were returning to MCAS Miramar from training in El Centro when their AH-1W Super Cobra went down near Kitchen Creek Road in the Cleveland National Forest.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation
